Many women face debilitating pain and dismissal during menstruation. I share a distressing work experience and emphasize the need for empathy and understanding. Menstrual health concerns everyone, and advocating for compassion and support is crucial. I urge women to advocate for themselves and calls for grace and empathy from others.

The NHS: The Not (so) Helpful Services- The struggles of Overworked Nurses and a broken system.

The NHS, once lauded for healthcare excellence, falls short for many HCPs and patients. Overwhelmed by excessive workload, lack of support and institutional challenges, nurses face distress and disillusionment. Racism, favouritism, inadequate pay and a lack of unity plague the system. Comprehensive reform is needed for the NHS to fulfil its promise of compassionate care and patient satisfaction.

Capitalism and the broke friend

In a capitalist society, being unemployed and unable to contribute financially can bring feelings of resentment, shame and embarrassment, particularly in friendships. Asking for help is difficult in a culture that values independence and when support is not freely given, it creates a complex emotional struggle. Ultimately, finding balance and self-worth beyond financial contribution is key.
