Howdy people!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Whew! I cannot believe it is 2024! Last year really did fly by fast, right? I am back with the FIRST blog post of the year. SO much has changed and happened in the last year, it’s unbelievable. And this year will be one of the BIGGEST changes I will encounter due to big and bold life decisions being made. I have always said that 2024 will be the biggest year for me and it is literally happening.
Buckle up, because we’re about to dive into a whirlwind of exhilarating twists and turns that have shaped my life in the most mind-boggling, heart-pounding ways. Welcome to the rollercoaster ride titled ‘BIG CHANGES’ – a story of bravery, passion, and a whole lot of chasing dreams!

A year ago, I stepped into the world of academia, armed with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a dash of nervous excitement. From lectures that birthed my curiosity to late-night studying coupled with sleep deprivation, researching and crying my heart and soul out due to the growing pains of frustration that tested my limits, the journey towards my master’s degree was nothing short of a big adventure. Battling imposter syndrome and stepping out of my comfort zone, I took the plunge and boy, was it worth it! Say it with me… D I S T I N C T I O N!

Fast forward to today, I am armed with my degrees. I am also venturing into a brand-newish career. The nerves are real and the learning curve is steep, but each challenge is a stepping stone towards growth. I am seizing opportunities, faced and still facing some setbacks and learning that bravery isn’t about the absence of fear, but dancing with and changing it! And that is what I will do and continue to do.

As the new year approaches, I’m planning an exciting new chapter: relocating, exploring new horizons, and embracing the unknown. While nerves mix with excitement and anticipation, they remind me that I’m alive and ready to seize the world with both hands.

Amidst the thrill, I acknowledge moments of doubt. But bravery isn’t about being free of doubt; it’s about pushing through it with the strength of your heart. It’s taking that leap of faith towards your dreams, no matter how daring they may seem.

So, here’s to chasing those dreams, overcoming nerves, and embracing change. ‘BIG CHANGES’ isn’t just a story; it’s the evidence of the audacity of my human spirit.
