Hello, hello! I hope you all are good! Two posts in a day!? W H A T? Will there be a third? Let’s see haha
This blog post’s question is very interesting and I am excited to share some of my answers with you all!
A couple of years ago, when I was much younger, my mental landscape was predominantly occupied by reflections on the past. Almost every single day, my thoughts would gravitate towards moments gone by, perhaps due to internalising negative labels stuck onto me by nasty people or due to a coping mechanism for a future I couldn’t envision. At that time, the prospect of a bright future seemed unreachable and I harboured doubts about living long enough to witness the unfolding of life’s possibilities. Fast forward to the present and the evolution in my mindset is noticeable.

As I’ve grown, my focus has increasingly shifted to contemplating the future. This shift stems from a deeper awareness of life’s unpredictability and the realization that tomorrow is beyond our control. The challenges and responsibilities I face, along with the turbulent socio-political climate, have led me to constantly overthink my plans and potential future paths. While the present may be vibrant, the uncertainty of the future drives my intense desire to prepare for what’s ahead.
See you in the next post! 🙂
